As the year comes to a close its the perfect time to reflect on the past year and plan for the upcoming year. Of all the social media channels, Instagram is my favorite. Love seeing which of my posts got the most likes for the year. A cocktail recipe and the Grand Canyon. And a lot of cocktails and eats – Culinary Dropout, Hopdoddy Burger Bar, Tacos Chiwas, Pig & Pickle, Small Cakes Scottsdale, The Range Steakhouse and Main Event.
2016 was the year I decided to launch Cocktails and Cactus as a foodie Instagram microblog. Most recently I launched the blog. I’m excited for 2017 as I continue to grow the community for fans of local food and cocktails. I have a few ideas planned for 2017 (keeping those a secret for now). I’m also so EXCITED to have reached 5,000 followers by the end of 2016.
