Play Ball! Baseball has arrived in Arizona.
How about watching spring training, enjoying some of Arizona’s best local food and supporting a great local charity? This season get tickets to the Charros Lodge at the Scottsdale Stadium and cheer on the San Francisco Giants.
The Scottsdale Charros are a philanthropic organization that has been helping our community since 1961 supporting youth sports, education and charitable causes.
The Charros Lodge is in the right outfield. Lots of seating and great views of the stadium.
All food is complimentary with admission. Snacks, traditional ballpark food is served and for each game, a local restaurant is featured. Food from local businesses includes Grimaldi’s Pizza, The Vig, The Living Room, Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers and Ruth Chris. Drinks include beer (over 14 on tap), wine, soda and water.
I recently attended a press day to see some of the food that will be served during the season. We got to catch the Giants take the field for practice. One of the best things about Arizona – love Spring Training. Spending a day outside, watching baseball. With a majority of the teams now in Arizona as part of the Cactus league, there’s a game for everyone.
So many yummy tastes from Square One Concepts (mastermind behind such restaurants including Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers, Crab and Mermaid, and one of my favorites Bourbon and Bones, I am a whiskey girl after all). And Genuine Concepts – the amazing restaurant group behind the Vig, Ladera, Linger Longer Lounge, The Little Woody…just to name a few)
Can’t go wrong with Ruth Chris Steak House. They were grilling up sliders for us to sample – smelled amazing.
