For this week’s Happy Hour Spotlight we stopped into Brat Haus in Old Town Scottsdale. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town. I love the casual fun atmosphere of the patio. I love their enthusiasm from bring their guests the best food using the best ingredients and making everything in-house. And most importantly, I LOVE their food. Brat Haus also hosts some amazing events including Oktoberfest and Sausage Fest. Always a blast with lots of food and beer.
When: Monday – Friday 4 pm – 6 pm
Hungry? Fried Pickles ($4), Brat Burger ($6), Giant Pretzel ($15)
Thirsty? $1 off all draft beers, $5 Haus wines, $7 Haus cocktails
Brat Haus’ patio is dog-friendly! and during happy hour, FREE dog brats
Violet Beauregarde, one of the cocktails on Brat Haus’ newest cocktail menu. Brat Haus is known for their beer, but I’m excited for their new cocktail menu and this was one of my favorites – Templeton Rye, Elderflower and blueberry. I do enjoy beer especially when paired with brats but more often I gravitate towards cocktail (or straight whiskey).
With German ancestry and born and raised in Philadelphia, I LOVE a great soft pretzel and I’m slightly obsessed with Brat Haus’ pretzels. Always have to order one on every visit. The Giant Pretzel is amazing (on on their list of happy hour specials) but for this visit I went with the regular sized pretzel.
I love to order something to munch on while hanging out with friends and enjoying a few drinks. This was the first time I tired the Haus Pickles and OMG these were amazing. I think I ate the entire plate. Made with the yummy house made pickle and lightly fried…soooo good. The Haus Fries are equally delicious and they have an awesome variety of dipping sauces. The Backyard Chips are brand new and hopefully showing up on the menu soon – especially with the bacon jam dipping sauce.
You can’t make a visit to Brat Haus without enjoying a brat, or two, or three… My favorites Brats – Spicy Sausage, Greek Sausage, and Elk Sausage.
