One of the things I get most asked about is where to go for Happy Hour. So we’re launching a weekly Happy Hour Spotlight series where each week I will share a favorite happy hour spot. Send me an email or comment below if you have a favorite sport we should visit!
My first stop -The Mix Up bar at the Royal Palms (next door to also a favorite restaurant, T. Cooks)
In Arizona, we are spoiled with some amazing resorts. Don’t let just your guest enjoy them – experience them for dinner, staycations and happy hour. A mini escape to luxury.
Happy Hour details:

Being a bourbon fan, I visited on a Thursday. Planning to go back for Sangria Sundays soon – the perfect way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon.
I started with bourbon, neat. Evan Williams Single Barrel
The bar menu always includes a cocktail of the day. On Thursdays, this is usually a bourbon cocktail. Keifer lime inspired julep.
It was Bourbon & Burgers Thursday day after all. Burger and fries for $8, such a deal and perfect pairing with my bourbon. The bar is intimate and comfortable. There are also plenty of tables if that’s what you prefer. After Happy Hour, stroll around the gorgeous or stay for dinner.
