This week’s stop for our Happy Hour Spotlight series is Buck and Rider, a place I frequent quite often for happy hour. Buck and Rider, part of the LGO Hospitality Group, is located in the Camelback/Arcadia part of Phoenix.
When: Monday through Saturday open – 7 pm at Abby’s Oyster Bar (the indoor bar)
Thirsty? Signature cocktails, house pours, select wine, draft beer are $6.
Hungry? A portion of the bar menu including select oysters are half price – check the board for the daily specials.
One of my favorite ceviche dishes in town is Buck and Rider’s White Fish Ceviche so I almost always order that. The Voodoo Fried Rice is quite delicious too with a punch of heat. Other days I’m craving sushi and might order the Shrimp Roll.
My favorite of their signature cocktails is the Your Money of Your Life with Old Forester bourbon. Other times it’s the Diego Rivera with tequila or their take on a Manhatten.
