The newest location of My Pie has opened in Gilbert with the Grand Opening event December 3, 2016. The celebration will include food & drink specials and entertainment. A portion of sales will benefit A Broader Approach, a Gilbert, AZ-based organization committed to helping parents research and utilize biomedical treatment options for their child with autism. Awesome. Love the commitment to the community. My Pie is Arizona-based created by the same owners as Crust. My Pie combines the Crust’s vision of homemade recipes, authentic New York style pizza and strong family values with the ‘build your own’ concept in their fast casual eateries. Growing up in Philadelphia and spending my summers at the Jersey shore, I’m a New York style girl. Sorry, Chicago-style pizza lovers, I just don’t get.
I was invited to attend their media preview event, taste the menu and hear owner Ryan Mitchell’s vision of their newest location. Love their vision with a focus on family and community.
We started with some tasty Garlic Knots and Caprese. LOVED the Garlic Knots
Now let’s talk pizza. My Pie makes their pizza dough and sauce from daily from scratch. They offer vegetarian and gluten free options too. Besides Pizza Your Way, they offer some amazing menu pizza combinations.
Margherita Pizza
Spicey Butcher, Hot Hawaiian with Gluten Free Crust, Angry Bird
Craving a salad? They’re got those too. I loved the Health Nut with the combination of fresh vegetables and the crunch of the almonds and sunflower seeds.
Health Nut, Mediterranean Lover
If you’re in the mood for an adult beverage, the menu includes wine and beer with local favorites Grand Canyon Brewing Company and San Tan Brewing Company.
Always good to finish with something sweet.
“I’m thrilled to open our third Arizona installment of My Pie. This has truly been a labor of love and an amazing dream realized for myself and my team. We have our sights set on continuing to grow this awesome concept through a love for our customers, friends and community. Our goal is to become your neighborhood pizzeria at each of our locations. It all starts with giving back and we can’t wait to develop strong relationships in the east valley,” said Ryan Mitchell, vice president of operations, My Pie.
disclosure: I was invited to a media preview night by My Pie Gilbert. All opinions are my own.
