Since Shake Shack arrived in the valley at the beginning of 2016, its become one of my favorite destinations for burgers.  The New York-based burger chain now has 3 locations including Uptown Plaza, Kierland Commons, and Scottsdale Fashion Square.  I’m still hoping for a North Phoenix location but until then its worth the drive.

A step ahead of many fast casual burger shops with the high-quality agreements. It makes a HUGE difference. Yum.

Shake Shack has introduced a trio of Holiday Shakes: Christmas Cookie, Chocolate Peppermint, and Pumpkin Pie. I love that they are always changing the menu seasonally – always something new to try in addition to their classics.

It was hard to pick a favorite but my top pick is the Pumpkin Pie which really surprised me because I don’t usually like all the pumpkin flavored foods. They use real pumpkin pie filling in the shakes. My son’s top pick is the Christmas Cookie – he loved the extra touch of sugar sprinkles on the whipped cream.  As we were leaving my son declared “Shake Shack officially has the best shakes” – he’s a foodie in training…and wants to start a food blog soon (He’s 10).
