We may live in the desert, but our city can throw an awesome boat parade. The annual Tempe Festival of Lights Boat Parade is held on Tempe Town Lake and is best viewed from Tempe Beach Park. This is the only time motorized boats are allowed on the lake. More than just boats, there was music, vendor booths, Food Trucks, fireworks and of course Santa.
What’s a festival without food?? There were Food Trucks of course. Love the Food Truck explosion and how it brings awesome food to any local event. The selection of Food Trucks included Hot Cookie, Burgers Amore, and Yellowman Fry Bread. Yes, I said Hot Cookie Truck. A warm cookie bowl topped with an ice cream sundae.
